Privacy policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Dash Remover is built so that privacy depends on engineering, not promises: the text you paste is processed entirely in your browser and never reaches our servers. This page explains the few pieces of data that exist at all and how they are handled.
The short version
We do not collect, store or transmit the text you process. Every transformation — removing, replacing, identifying dashes — runs in JavaScript inside your browser.
What we do not collect
The text you paste into any tool never leaves your device. There are no user accounts, so we never ask for names, email addresses or passwords. And because processing is local, there is no record of what you clean.
- We do not upload your text to any server.
- We do not build profiles or usage statistics from your content.
- We share nothing with third parties, because there is nothing to share.
Technical data that can still exist
As on any website, your browser sends the server standard information to fetch the pages: IP address, browser type and preferred language. Our hosting may keep brief technical logs for availability and abuse prevention; those logs concern page requests, not the content of your text, and are not used to build profiles.
Cookies and local storage
Dash Remover uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. If a tool remembers your preferences — say, the last dash type you ticked — it happens in your browser’s local storage and is never transmitted.
Third-party services
The site relies on basic infrastructure services — hosting and file delivery — which see only ordinary web requests. We load no ad networks, no tracking pixels and no social widgets that could watch your browsing.
Your rights
Since we store no personal data, there is nothing to export, correct or delete on request. If you believe we have nonetheless processed personal data of yours in some way, write to us and we will look into it: you can reach us any time from the contact page.
Changes to this policy
If the policy changes, we will update the last-updated date on this page. Material changes will be explained here in plain language.
