Line break remover — join broken lines back into clean text
Paste the text, press once, and every line break is gone — each one replaced by a single space so sentences stay apart. Nothing else about the text changes.

Line breaks are where text breaks at its container, not where sense breaks in the sentence. An email wrapped at 72 characters, a PDF paragraph broken at every printed line, a terminal transcript chopped at 80 columns — all of it reads fine in the place it came from and falls apart the moment you paste it somewhere wider: half-finished lines, random gaps mid-sentence, paragraphs that will not flow. This tool joins those lines back together.
By default every break becomes exactly one space, so “end of the\nline” comes back as “end of the line”. Choose “delete without spaces” when the breaks only exist for display — the line-per-entry list in a form field, a list of codes — and the lines should fuse into one unbroken string instead. Runs of blank lines collapse away either way, so a paragraph copied out of a PDF does not leave double gaps behind.
The count above is the number of breaks the tool found and joined — including the invisible ones: the carriage returns (\r) an old file hides at the end of every line, and the U+2028 line separators that some JSON and JavaScript exports use in place of \n. If the count is 0 and the text still looks broken, the culprit is not a line break but a run of spaces or a soft hyphen — the extra-spaces remover and the soft-hyphen remover are the tools for those.
